Vice President, New Jersey Market Leader

Thomas Nodar, Vice President, New Jersey Market Leader, brings nearly 50 years of construction, project management, and constructability leadership to UrbanNY’s rail, transit, infrastructure, building, and energy clients. A former chief of construction and Project Management for NJ TRANSIT, he has overseen capital programs ranging from complex station rehabilitations and rail yard expansions to bridge roll-ins, passenger information systems, high-rise construction, and power infrastructure. Tom understands how to move projects from concept through construction by aligning permitting, design coordination, cost estimating, procurement, scheduling, quality control, construction management, and claims strategy with the realities of the field. His experience includes executive oversight for Amtrak PIDS upgrades at New York Penn Station, Chicago Union Station, and Philadelphia 30th Street Station; NJ TRANSIT’s construction management program; Trenton Station rehabilitation; Morrisville Yard expansion; Union Township Station; and the Wall Street subway station mezzanine expansion. Clients value Tom for his seasoned judgment, constructability insight, and ability to anticipate delivery risks before they affect operations, budget, schedule, or public access. He brings the perspective of an owner’s executive, the practicality of a construction manager, and the steady leadership needed to guide complex infrastructure assignments toward successful completion.
